Unveiled at the Festival of Motoring in August, the new Suzuki Grand Vitara has made its first appearance in South Africa following the initial reveal in July. This luxurious new vehicle was on display throughout the Festival and many lucky individuals got to witness it for themselves. Packed with a variety of cutting-edge features, this flagship Suzuki vehicle is due to launch locally in 2023.
Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) technology and Suzuki’s AllGrip Select All-wheel-drive system are two key additions that will be available in the new Suzuki Grand Vitara. The SHVS system allows for improved fuel efficiency as well as decreased emissions. This is possible thanks to an integrated starter generator motor that replaces the conventional alternator.
Moving to AllGrip Select, this system offers four selectable driving modes. Certain Grand Vitara models will feature this technology that allows drivers to choose between AUTO, SPORT, SNOW and LOCK options. With a simple push and turn of a dial, you will be able to experience every journey the way that you want to.

- A 360-degree around-view camera system
- Head-up display
- Wireless smartphone charging
The new Suzuki Grand Vitara will have two engine configurations to choose from. These options are the K15B 1.5 litre powerplant and the all-new K15C 1.5 litre dual-jet motor with SHVS mild hybrid technology.
