Ultimate Braai Master celebrates a successful season 6

Kasi Coals were the first team into the final, after winning the fast-forward challenge in Episode 11, which allowed them to skip the semi-final challenge. Chef Thabo, a fine-dining chef showed off his incredible ability to create and plate exceptional food, giving them the chance to compete for the Final. Kasi Coals walked away with 3rd place, taking home R30 000 from Takealot.

A new Ultimate Braai Master winner has been crowned! After 6 seasons, this was probably one of our toughest and most gripping season yet!

Best Braai Buds were the surprise of the season to make it into the final, after pulling out all the stops for the semi-final with their honest, wholesome approach to braaing – despite constantly reminding Justin that they like to just wing it, they beat out several exceptional teams to make it to the final. An even bigger surprise was that Best Braai Buds walked away with 2nd place and R50 000 from Takealot.

But it was team Brafia (The Braai Mafia) who stole the show. Borries and his braai buddy Kagiso were an unstoppable force in the final. Their flavourful dishes, melt-off-the-bone ribs and brilliant smoking techniques blew the judges away and cinched them the win of the cash, the car and the title.
The winners earned themselves R400 000, a Suzuki Ignis and of course the title of The Ultimate Braai Master.
